Joseph Antony is a principal engineer with UL, having served in various roles with the company since 1989. He is a technical expert in automatic electrical controls intended for use in electrical and gas-fired products. Joe serves as Chief Technical Advisor and Chairman of the United States Technical Advisory Group (USTAG) and Head of United States Delegation to IEC Technical Committee 72 that is responsible for the development of safety requirements for controls. He is an active member in all of the working groups in Technical Committee 72. He earned an electrical engineering degree from the University of South Florida.
